Joe Monaghan Chief Operating Officer Joe brings 23-years of industry experience both as a travel manager and as a technology development visionary to the TravelMaster team. His expertise in the practical application of technology in corporate travel management has been applauded by the industry as “best practices”. Long an advocate of consolidated global corporate card and travel data, Joe believes strongly in the importance of accurate, timely information as the basis for an intelligent management/sourcing/decision process. Prior to TravelMaster Technologies, Joe was the senior vice president, marketing and sales support for WorldTravel BTI (now BCD Travel) and American Express where held various positions in brand management, product positioning and technology business development. Joe began his career in the travel industry in 1986 as travel manager for Dr. Pepper. During his tenure at Dr. Pepper, Joe was recognized as Business Travel Manager of the Year. Joe currently serves as chairman of the Institute of Business Travel Management and is a member of ACTE and NBTA. |
